Thanks Ceinwen, after a lengthy search online, I've found your copy of the manual for the Super Deluxe Zig Zag Sewing Machine. It's most helpful as I've only recently come into possession of the same sewing machine; given to me after a conversation about fishing rods and fishing rod bags with an old friend. I'd said in passing that I'd always meant to get a sewing machine and start making my own cloth rod bags for safe storage and travel of my many fishing rods. He promptly offered me his grandmother's 'Wayward Princess Zig Zig sewing machine', mostly complete & with an uncracked plastic case. I'd only a little idea how it works, but with your pdf manual I'll be well equipped to get started. The instructions are great help, especially the info about thread tension and the bobbin case placement under the slide plate. Thanks again, Damian.
